This Heartsaver CPR and AED Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants and use of barrier devices for all ages. It also covers the use of the AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). It is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers, lifeguards and coaches. It is also appropriate for anyone that has a responsibility to care for another person including parents and babysitters. It is for the non-healthcare professional. Healthcare Providers, including Nursing Students and EMT Students, please register for BLS for Healthcare Providers. Textbook cost is $12.00.

BLS for Healthcare Providers for Healthcare Providers course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages,including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask,use of an AED on adults and children, and relief of choking in responsive and nonresponsive victims. Written and skills evaluation are required for course completion. This is a Provider course designed for first-time participants and those who have expired cards. Textbook cost is $12.00.
